CARROT (ORIGINAL SERIES)

After a regular nobody’s impromptu speech inspires his Boss (an occasionally well-intentioned sociopath) during an elite gala hosted by the Secret Club of Rich People (or, "SCORPion," as they call themselves), he’s recruited to spearhead a corporate initiative to “change the world”, ideally before the Q4 shareholder meeting.

Blending satire, surrealism, and cartoon insanity (think Spongebob meets Parasite), CARROT considers late-game capitalism in Ameriga (not a typo), exploring questions like: Can one person truly make a difference? Should they even try? And, can a SCORPion ever really change its nature?

Carrot is written, directed, and edited by Rich Chapple, with art/storyboard by Rich Chapple and Jamie Sardo (Marvel Comics Battleworld), and original music by Ryan Dann (Joe Pera Talks with You). The animatic features Rich Chapple as Carrot and a hilarious lead performance by Jim Santangeli (Search Party, Our Cartoon President) as The Boss, along with cameos by Naomi Ekpergin (Broad City, Netflix's The Standups), Billy Hurley (NYC stand up), and more.
